You Recline While We Design.

Did you know that the first La-Z-Boy reclining chair was designed in 1927? Since then, La-Z-Boy has been the front runner for reclining furniture but we've come a long, long way since that very first chair made of wooden slats was created. While reclining chairs are La-Z-Boy's bread and butter, there's so much more that can be found under the La-Z-Boy umbrella. When replacing the main seating, we tend to re-evaluate whole spaces. I'd love to share with you some of what La-Z-Boy has to offer and a few of my personal favorites.

Dining and Occasional Tables:

Having options for seating is so important, but what about the surfaces that accompany them? Somewhere to set your coffee in the mornings or a place for the remote control when you binge watch your favorite shows. Tables are one of the many things La-Z-Boy offers that can really help define the style of a room. Plank Road is one of our best selling table groups. It's solid wood with a rubbed-black color option that will give a beautiful contrast to any space. The clean lines of this collection offer a very sleek, put together approach to a rustic / farmhouse style. Also comes in a stone wash brown for anyone in need of the lighter option.

Area Rugs:

Rugs are one of the easiest ways to anchor your space while also bringing it new life. La-Z-Boy has rug vendors who offer thousands of rugs options in a variety of colors, textures, and materials. Whether you need one for a bedroom, family room, dining room, or indoor-outdoor rugs for sun rooms and patios. There's something for everyone, it just depends on what your needs are.

One of my Top 5 go-to rug collections is called Century. This collection has a soft texture that is pet, family, and guest friendly. It's a great choice for my clients who have busy lives and need a rug that is adaptable. Changing home accents is a piece of cake with this rug when using one of it's more muted options. However, it's far from boring. The patterns give it a beautiful touch and keeps the eye in motion. There are also more colorful options for anyone looking for some bolder accent colors.

Artwork and Accessories:

A room designed by our La-Z-Boy designers wouldn't be complete without artwork and accessories. Pictures and paintings make our homes more personals and allow us to really show off the things that make us ourselves and the things we love the most. That could be anything from family members, places we've traveled, our favorite animals, or our favorite combinations of color. Accessories can accomplish the same thing.
